The serial number 7489 is stamped on the dial as-well-as the inside of the case. The clock is powered by a rugged Seth Thomas #10A, jeweled, double spring movement. Circa 1917 New Haven Clock Company No. 3043 advertising clock for Sauer's Extracts of Richmond, Virginia. The mahogany finish case houses the 8 day, time only movement and displays the time on a 12" diameter dial. Circa 1880 Ansonia Clock Co. of New York, “Fisherman” swinging arm clock with 3” Dial and original, low profile, painted cast iron base. 20 1/2” overall height. Later models had a taller cast iron base increasing the height to 25 1/2”. Ansonia trademark stamped on the rear plate of the miniature swing arm movement with front mounted pendulum.
